water construction vessel. I wrote the structural conversion specifications to convert the vessel to DP3 class. This entailed installation of new bulkheads, generators and thrusters to obtain the necessary redundancy. I also produced the structural specification for the support of the J lay tower and I performed vessel surveys to define the scope of work for the ITT.<\/p><p>Upon contract award I was assigned to site team at Verolme shipyard to verify\/check subcontractor design calculations against fabrication. I used SACS to carry out modal analysis on MAK generator supports to check for resonance and I analysed parts of primary steel bulkheads related to the conversion.
